01 · THE METER

One glance. The limit that ends your night.

THE LIMITER
Runway, not averages

The headline is always the binding limit — session or weekly, whichever dies first — never a blended number that hides the wall.

ALERTS
Overnight-run insurance

Silent alerts at 75 / 90 / 95% of the tightest window — and when a limit resets after running low. Never twice per window.

DEALS
The sales rack

Every sync compares your limits against their history. Early resets, boosted caps, windows that change shape — caught with evidence, never inferred from one reading.

02 · THE DASHBOARD

A real app behind the icon. ⌘D away.

Limitbar dashboard: worth vs plan cost chart, per-model breakdown, activity heatmap
03 · THE RECEIPT

Your plans, audited nightly.

Limitbar prices every token your agents burn at public à-la-carte rates and weighs it against what you pay. List prices are an upper bound — the app labels it an estimate, because it is one. The direction survives any haircut.

04 · MAC → IPHONE → WATCH

Limits follow you.

The iPhone app finds your Mac over your own Wi-Fi — pairing code, no cloud — and the Watch gets the Signal Stack. Glance, then go back to sleep.

Fair questions.

Is the worth number real?+

It's your real token volume priced at public à-la-carte rates — an honest upper bound, labeled an estimate in the app. The point is the direction and the trend, which survive any discount you apply.

What does Limitbar send off my Mac?+

Nothing. It reads local session logs and calls your providers' usage endpoints with your existing sign-ins — the same way their own CLIs do. No server, no account, no telemetry.

Which tools does it support?+

Codex and Claude Code in full — limits and history. Cursor activity locally. A provider framework with 35 cataloged harnesses is in place, with adapters landing as usage endpoints are verified.

Why not the Mac App Store?+

Sandboxed App Store apps can't read the local logs your agents keep — Limitbar's entire data source. The Mac app ships as a direct download; the iPhone and Watch companions go through the App Store.
