LIMITBAR · A FRAMEMODE PRODUCT

Privacy

Effective August 22, 2026

The short version: Limitbar collects nothing. There is no Limitbar server, no account, no analytics, and no telemetry.

What the Mac app reads

Local session logs that your AI coding tools already keep on your Mac, and your providers' own usage endpoints, called with the sign-ins you already have — the same way their own CLIs do. All processing happens on your Mac.

What the Mac app stores

Its usage index and settings, in ordinary files on your Mac. Delete the app and its data, and everything is gone.

What leaves your Mac

Nothing is sent to Framemode — ever. The only network calls are to your own providers (to read your usage) and, if you enable it, to your own iPhone over your local network, protected by a pairing code you control.

iPhone & Watch apps

The companion apps display data received directly from your Mac over your own Wi-Fi. They collect nothing, contain no analytics, and talk to no server.
